Professional and administrative management of laboratory activities according to sector criteria and guidance from the Laboratory Standardization Center, gradually implementing and completing standard operating procedures (SOPs).
Regular internal quality audits and participation in international External Quality Assessment programs: Biochemistry, Immunology, Hematology, Coagulation, Urinalysis, Blood grouping, etc.
Performs tests on:
+ All biochemical parameters in blood; biochemistry, urinalysis, body fluid analysis; electrolyte, blood gas analysis, etc.
+ Hematology and blood transfusion tests, blood and blood product provision… Coagulation tests, malaria parasite tests.
+ All immunological tests: microbiological – viral serology, hormone, metabolic, cardiovascular tests, tumor markers, drugs of abuse, therapeutic drug monitoring…
+ Microbiological tests: blood culture, antibiotic sensitivity testing, serological tests for parasites (E. histolytica, Cysticercus cellulosae, Fasciola sp., Toxocara canis, Strongyloides stercoralis, Paragonimus sp., Angiostrongylus cantonensis…)
+ Molecular biological tests: The lab is among the first facilities in the country to apply modern, internationally standardized molecular diagnostics. It performs pathogen detection for common infectious diseases: HBV CAP T48, HCV CAP T48, HBV-DNA, HBV genotype, HBV Lamivudine resistance mutations, HCV-RNA, HCV genotype, TB PCR, HPV genotype…
